Columbines (A. caerulea) up close and a light yellow variety only starting to bloom... and the purple variety with gently curved spikes (A> vulgaris) up-close.
Manang is a Filipina transplanted from Metro Manila, Philippines to rural Maine. This blog mainly features observation around my surroundings which is so different from where I grew up in. While Metro Manila was a very congested and heavily polluted area, Maine is a refreshing and welcome change! Trees dominate the sceneries, most animals freely roam and are respected -- squirrels, skunks, deer, moose, etc. Here I get to see bees and birds and flowers, inhale the clean air, drink clean water from our well...And the people in our small community are very polite. This state is a wonderful place to live in and an ideal place to raise our children.
